Huawei adds route planning and public transit to Petal Maps
Huawei has been developing and improving its ecosystem every day, and now it has brought another breakthrough that would make users feel comfortable within the HMS. Starting this week, Petal Maps offers public transit navigation in 16 countries and provides cycling route planning in 11 countries.
The new enhanced version of Petal Maps brings multiple route options, duration, and detailed information to save the hassle of commute planning. Departure schedules, stop-by-stop routes, and estimated arrival times of buses, light rail, ferries, and trains are online in Australia, Belgium, Luxembourg, Canada, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Finland, France, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, and others.
Meanwhile, cycling will be available in these countries and regions – Germany, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Norway, New Zealand, Poland, and Sweden.
Petal Maps is exclusively on Huawei AppGallery and works on pretty much all Huawei and Honor devices. It also supports Air Gestures – a touch-free feature that is exclusive to the Huawei Mate 40 series.
